What is PDC....?

Until a permanent degree is issued and conferred during convocation, a university will provide a provisional degree certificate. Typically, the certificate remains in effect for around six months or until the students receive their degrees. There isn't really a time limit on it. However, the Provisional Certificate will lose all significance the day your institute awards you a degree. This certificate serves primarily as a temporary replacement for the degree and serves as evidence that the degree has not yet been awarded.

A Provisional Degree Certificate is a temporary certificate given to the student by a certain university, college, or educational institution. It is valid until the school no longer offers the actual degree. It is frequently used while applying for jobs or higher education:

It includes the student's name and the course they studied with its medium of instruction.

It is transient in character, i.e., it is temporary.


Steps to apply for VTU PDC 

Apply for VTU PDC (Provisional Degree Certificate) from the website below.

Step 1: Sign up / create an account 

Step 2: You'll receive username and password from VTU via SMS to the registered mobile number within 10 mins then login in the portal with those credentials

Step 3: Do apply in the website for any of the documents individually

Step 4: Navigate to 'Pay Fees' section and pay the  required fee, once you see the payment is successful logout and then login again.

Step 5: After logging in, go to final submission and then just click on 'Finalize application/submission'

Step 6: Go to 'Submitted Applications' section where you can see all the submitted applications as shown.

Step 7: As the application is processing you have the provision to track, print, or even download the softcopy of the applied doc.

"In the Track option the Tracking ID will be visible ONLY after the document is dispatched "

Once the tracking ID is generated, use that ID in the place of Consignment number to know where the article / document is.

                                   

To track use the India Post official website with the tracking ID as Consignment number then enter the captcha and click search.

You can download those within 7 working days after you apply....!!


Note :

  • Any documents needed from VTU will be issued only through this website and payment to be done through this website only.
  • No payment will be accepted by challan / DD or any other payment SBI payment gateway options.
  • Also note that VTU will not issue any documents in hand. There's no need to go to any university.


You'll receive the documents via speed post and any document to be applied ONLINE only and only through the above website not even via email or post.
